Michael Palin has a new book!

A message from Michael:

After almost a year and a half of research and writing, Erebus, The Story Of A Ship, is nearly ready to sail. Apart from some maps, illustrations and an index it is complete and shiny new copies will be available for the official launch on September 20th at a public event at The Royal Geographical Society in London.

After that I shall be travelling around the UK and Ireland to try and whip up an Erebus frenzy with a series of talks and signings. Then I'm off on tour to the USA, Canada and Australia. Details of all these voyages will be collected here in The Erebus Log, along with the latest news of the book and my own thoughts about the story it has to tell.

I look forward to meeting all who come along to the events, and sharing with you my fascination for the remarkable life of HMS Erebus.
